About

Amédée Butt Maggard is a multidisciplinary artist and designer recognized for her mastery of color and ability to move fluidly across disciplines. Trained at RISD in Architecture and Fine Arts, she began her career with Frank O. Gehry, Richard Meier, and Aero Studios before establishing her own practice.

Her work spans interiors, staging, and architectural design, always guided by a sensitivity to color. She extends her vision into painting and fine art, brand identity, and immersive lifestyle design — balancing elegance with originality, and refinement with irreverence. Her commissioned watercolors and original works are held in private collections, including actress Niamh McCormack (London).

Known for her range and instinct, Amédée has collaborated with Tim Burton, MTV, Courtney Love, and three-time Cupcake Wars champion Chef Hollis Wilder. Across every medium, her work is defined by creative intuition and a deeply collaborative spirit.
